David Hinson, national director of the Minority Business Agency (MDBA), U.S. Department of Commerce will keynote the St. Louis Council of Construction Consumers' (SLCCC) workshop "Diversity in Design & Construction: Ingredients for Survival," to be held Nov. 4 at Ameren headquarters, 1901 Chouteau.
The MBDA seeks economic parity for the minority business community. Under Hinson, a St. Louis native, MBDA has assisted with $7 billion in contracts and capital, creating nearly 11,000 jobs.
The program will offer owners and contractors opportunities to:
• Discover programs to promote growth & competitiveness of women & minority owned business
• Identify design & construction opportunities
• Owner / CM / Contractor one-on-one meetings with MWBE's
