In December IMPACT Strategies will wrap-up the latest in a series of projects for the Department of the Air Force - 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott Air Force Base. Altogether, six separate renovation projects will have been completed under a single master contract totaling approximately $4 million. IMPACT is in its second year of a five year MACC (Multiple Award Construction Contract) awarded to the company in 2009.
Four of the six projects involved mechanical equipment upgrades to various buildings on Base. IMPACT Strategies partnered with St. Louis-based Murphy Company on the mechanical upgrades. The remaining projects involved a two-phased interior remodel of an existing building and a moisture repair/renovation project at several dorms on site.
Mark Hinrichs, president of IMPACT Strategies, states, "These projects represent a new partnership for us with the government that we hope to develop into a long-term relationship as we have with so many of our clients."
