The deadline for CNR Regional Excellence Awards has been extended until May 31. The original deadline was April 1.
CNR Owner Mike Chollet said, "While we have already had some excellent submissions, the uptick in construction activity in recent months means that a number of significant projects are now nearing completion. That, coupled with the fact that the announcement of the awards will not take place until the September/October issue of CNR and a late September awards ceremony, makes it a no-brainer to offer this extension."
The stated purpose of the awards — now in their 22nd year — is to recognize projects completed in the last year that demonstrate excellence in design, excellence in construction, and a positive contribution to the St. Louis community. Awards are presented to the designer, the general contractor/construction manager, and the owner for each project.
Submissions are evaluated by a panel of construction professionals and educators.
