Walton Manager Becomes Erosion, Sediment, Storm Inspecto

Mike Leopold, senior project manager of Walton Construction-St. Louis, recently earned accreditation as a Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI).  The CESSWI Program offers certification to individuals who are qualified to provide nationally consistent inspections of erosion, sediment, and storm water management practices.  Candidates must submit an application and complete a written examination.

Leopold joined Walton-St. Louis in August of 2005 and has since managed numerous projects.  He currently is working on an Armed Forces Reserve Center in Seagoville, TX and a storm sewer relocation project at Jefferson Barracks.  Mike also served as Walton’s senior project manager for the new construction of a Wal-Mart Supercenters in Harrisburg, Jacksonville and Marion, Illinois.  Mike completed Wal-Mart’s storm water program and is a trained Storm Water Professional. Walton Construction is a member of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA).
