St. Louis retailer, Carol House Furniture, announced the expansion of their Valley Park location, which will add 13,000 square feet of showroom space to the 48-year-old facility. The full expansion is scheduled for completion this year, and will offer customers an improved shopping experience, complete with increasingly realistic furniture displays.
"We're excited to get this project underway," said Brook Dubman, Owner of Carol House. "My father started Carol House in this very building back in 1964, and we're proud to be able to expand and take it to the next level."
Cost of the facility will be $3 million. It will be the largest showroom in Missouri, owner Brook Dubman said. Sister Amy Dubman will assist in the design. The company, which also has a store in Maryland Heights, was founded by their father, Nat Dubman, in 1964 and has grown to 145 employees. Wachter Constructors is the general contractor.
