Sustainable construction practices are being used every day by AGC of St. Louis members in constructing St. Louis' commercial and industrial facilities. The AGC wants to bring that sustainable practice to the general public by sponsoring the (AGC)2 event -
Associated General Contractors Advocating Green Construction".

"Just as many construction firms have learned to recycle and reuse construction
materials, this event will allow homeowners from the region to recycle construction materials that they have previously not been able to recycle," an AGC release said.

The general public is invited to bring residential asphalt roofi ng shingles and untreated/unpainted drywall, lumber, brick and landscaping blocks to be recycled. ONLY these products listed will be accepted. Any materials not listed above are considered trash and disposal fees will apply.

Only homeowners will be allowed to participate in this event. Normal customers of Peerless Resource Recovery, Inc. or commercial/residential contractors will not be permitted to dump. There is a one ton limit on recycled material accepted.

Directions: From I-44, take the exit for Highway 141 north. At the fi rst stop
light turn west on Elam Ave. and immediately turn south on S. Elam Ave.
Peerless Resource Recovery, Inc. is located at the very end of S. Elam
Ave. about half a mile. Look for (AGC)2 event signs along the way.
