Cannon Design, an architectural, engineering and planning firm announced that Valmik Thakore has joined the firm as vice president and senior healthcare provider.
Prior to joining Cannon Design, Thakore served as senior healthcare planner and project manager for Christner, Inc. for over 23 years. He has more than 38 years of architectural and design experience, including 20 years in healthcare planning and programming.
Current projects for Cannon include: the Center for Cancer and Liver Diseases for King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a 300-bed hospital and ambulatory facility with over 1 million square feet of new construction.
Thakore is a graduate of The School of Architecture at CEPT University in Ahmedabad, India, and has a Master of Architecture and Urban Design from Washington University. He has served as visiting professor at the School of Architecture and School of Urban Design at CEPT University.
