“Triple Threat Rodeo” Comes to Luby

The Case Construction Equipment "Triple Threat Rodeo" will come to Luby Equipment's Fenton location, 2300 Cassens Dr. on Aug. 20.

The rodeo is a national competition testing operator skills on loader/backhoe, skid steer, and wheel loader. The national winner will in a new Case compact track loader.

 All competitors:

  • May compete individually or in teams of two.
  • Can only compete in one Triple Threat Rodeo at one dealership location.
  • Must have a sponsoring company. As in previous Rodeo Series competitions, Case is once again partnering with Habitat for Humanity for the Triple Threat Rodeo Competition. All sponsoring company entries are encouraged to bring a monetary donation for their local Habitat for Humanity affiliate, to be donated at your local Triple Threat Rodeo Event.

First prize wins $500, a trip for two to the national championship at the January 2012 World of Concrete in Las Vegas, and a Triple Threat belt buckle.  Second and third place finishers in the Luby event will receive $250 and $100 respectively, belt buckles and a shot at a wild card entry in the finals.

"We are looking forward to the rodeos, said Bob Luby, president of Luby Equipment. These events give local operators the chance to show off the skills they hone every day." Luby expects about 80 entrants in this year's event.

There will be free lunch and giveaways and special offers on equipment financing.
