Three from EWR Lead AIA in Illinois

Timothy A. McMinn, director of fesign for EWR Associates, Inc., Architects, has been elected as president of the Illinois Council of the American Institute of Architects for 2009. He is currently concluding his term as vice president / president-elect. 

AIA Illinois is the fourth largest council in the nation, serving over 4,000 member architects in the state and 83,000 nationally.  McMinn has previously served on the state board of directors for several years.  The year 2009 marks his 25th year as a member of the AIA.

Robert S. Anderson, AIA, of EWR Associates, Inc., Architects, was recently elected as treasurer of the Southern Illinois Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), for 2009.  Anderson previously served the chapter as the chairman of the Member Communications Committee.  Steven M. Downen, AIA, also of EWR Associates, Inc., previously served as secretary and has been elected as vice president / president-elect .
