SITE Improvement Association of St. Louis, celebrating its 42nd year, recently announced its new 2009 officers and board of directors. SITE represents contractors involved in jobsite preparation work, including concrete, earthmoving, landscaping, asphalt paving, highway/bridge, sewer/utility and various specialty trades.
The newly elected 2009 board officers are Andy D. Ernst of Pace Construction Company serving as president; Tom Milne of Oreo & Botta Concrete as vice president; and Peggy McGrath of TraMar Contracting as the secretary/treasurer.
In addition to the officers, other board members for 2009, effective Jan. 1, include: Keith Ahal of Ahal Contracting and Milne representing the concrete division; Dave Bangert, Limited Leasing, and Brenda Mainer, J.D. Kutter Insurance, representing the associates; Terry Daub, Kirkwood Excavating, and Mike Steiniger, Kuesel Excavating, leading the earthmoving division; Andy Ernst,
Pace Construction Co., and Jim Fitzgerald, N.B. West Contracting, representing the highway/bridge division; Mark Roden of Roden’s Landscaping and Scott Rozier, Rosch Company, LLC, co-directing the landscaping division; Dan Lucas, Accurate Asphalt Paving, and Joe Leritz, Leritz Contracting, representing the asphalt paving division; and Bill Bollmeier, C.E. Bollmeier, and Frank Marchesi Sr., Bi-State Utilities, representing the sewer/utility division. Terry McDannold, Park Mark Inc., along with McGrath, will lead the specialty division.
“We are very pleased to see new emerging leadership within our organization,” said Jay Schultehenrich, executive director of SITE. “The leadership transition was minimal because we have several returning members as well. We welcome Peggy McGrath into her new position as she is the first elected female officer on the SITE board.”
Founded in 1966, SITE Improvement Association has 200 contractor and associate members. It offers legislative action, education and safety programs, labor relations and social networking opportunities. SITE was a leading supporter of Work Zone Safety legislation and continues to be a strong advocate of accident-free work zones.
