Rosemann Names Sorkin VP

Rosemann & Associates announced the appointment of Kathy Sorkin as vice president. Her focus will be business development, client relations and strategic planning. The firm provides architectural, interior design, engineering, and planning services and is licensed in eleven states. Founded in 1987 by native St. Louisan Don Rosemann, the firm is headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, and has had an office in St. Louis since 1999. The firm recently moved its location to the Old Post Office in downtown St. Louis.

Sorkin has a long history in real estate development and community service. Professionally, she was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Capital Consultants, Inc. and Chief Operating Officer of E.M. Harris Construction Company. Prior to those positions, she was Vice-President of the St. Louis Equity Fund where she oversaw asset management and project development. She also spent 15 years in the title industry managing construction disbursing operations.

She has been honored by Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis and continues to serve on its Board, and is a past President. She is a graduate of the FOCUS St. Louis Leadership Program, and in 2009 was recognized by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of the area's "30 Most Influential Business Women."

She is active in numerous organizations and is a Board Member of the Missouri Growth Association, St. Vincent Greenway, Inc., and founding member of the Missouri Workforce Housing Association.
