River City Casino Construction Moving Forward

Yates/Paric continues to make steady progress on the $375 million River City Casino, Pinnacle Entertainment’s casino project on the Mississippi Riverfront in Lemay.

Builders achieved a major milestone on the project recently with the successful completion of the 90,000-square-foot concrete barge that is now floating in the newly completed moat. The structural steel and roofing are complete, and exterior skin elements and interior drywall are well underway.

Construction is on schedule and the casino is expected to open in early 2010, pending final approval by the Missouri Gaming Commission.

River City, with the casino, a new public roadway and other amenities, will be among the largest developments in St. Louis, and is in one of its most densely populated areas.

Yates/Paric is a joint venture partnership of W.G. Yates & Sons Construction Company of Philadelphia, MS and Paric Corporation.
