Real Estate Women Honored at CREW Event

The St. Louis chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) honored several members at its Fifth Annual Networking Awards Luncheon held in February at the Hilton St. Louis Frontenac.

The awards revolve around CREW's mission to advance the success of women in commercial real estate, as well as to support the community. Those honored and their respective awards are:

Mentor Award - Amy E. Garrison, Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP. Garrison served as the chapter's president in 2008 and 2009.

New Member of the Year - Colleen West, N.B. West Contracting Co. Inc. West was lauded for her work as co-chair of the chapter's annual golf event during a challenging year.

Survivor of the Year - Lisa Hosey, DTRT Environmental. This is a new award to reflect the challenges in commercial real estate last year. Hosey was selected for continuing to run her own business, which meant taking on second jobs. She also had her ailing Mom move in with her.

Successful Together: Networking Story of the Year - Lynn Goessling, Herzog Crebs LLP; Sabina A. Frank-Holtzman, Stephen Frank Associates Inc.; Tracy W. Howren, Enterprise Bank & Trust; Susan Sauer, Duffe-Nuernberger Realty. The members worked together on finding the space, legal documents and financing for the St. Louis Language Immersion School, a charter school that opened last August in a 50,000 square foot renovated warehouse at 4011 Papin.
