Phillips Is New CFO at Castle Contracting

Jim Phillips, a longtime construction industry veteran, has joined Castle Contracting as chief financial officer. Phillips served as controller for PayneCrest Electric before joining Castle.

"We're thrilled to have Jim join us," says Rich Ledbetter, president. "He brings a wealth of financial and construction knowledge to our team."

Phillips earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University and then practiced public accounting for 113 years. He has been a CFO or Controller in construction companies for the past 16 years.

"Castle is a great company, and I'm very exec tied to cont tribute to its success," says Phillips.

His areas of responsibilities include financial reporting, tax return preparation and planning, strategic planning, cash and budget management, job and operations reporting, human resources, contract management t, professional services liaison, information technology, retirement plans, up chasing, and asset management.

When he's not working, Phillips says, "family is first with kids and grandkids, playing and listening to music, snow skiing, photography, reading, and trying to keep in shape."
