A panel of St. Louis business leaders will address current and future priorities for renewal of the area's roads, bridges, sewers and other infrastructure at a free panel discussion on Wednesday, April 8 at the Missouri History Museum, 5700 Lindell Blvd. in Forest Park. The free event, “Infrastructure Opportunities: A Stimulus for Economic Growth,” begins at 8:30 with continental breakfast and concludes at 9 a.m.
Major infrastructure projects represent long-term investments in economic growth that will create thousands of Missouri jobs and add billions to the state's economy, according to Kevin Ferguson, vice president of Kwame Building Group, a St. Louis-based construction management firm.
Speakers at the panel discussion include Kevin Ferguson, vice president of Kwame Building Group; Jeff Theerman, executive director of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and Pat Kellett, business manager at Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union No. 562.
