Networking Event for Young Women Set

The National Association of Women In Construction St. Louis Chapter 38 (NAWIC) and Missouri Women In Trades (MOWIT) and the Construction Careers Center's Future Women in Construction Student Committee are co-sponsoring their fifth annual Women in Construction Networking Happy Hour/Ice Cream Social March 8 from 4-6 p.m. at the Construction Careers Center 1224 Grattan St.

Women in the industry are invited to meet with future women in the industry to network and provide them with information to start their careers. The event is also open to men interested in helping in this process.

The students will participate in a networking seminar prior to the event.

A "networking bingo" will be held, with attendees qualifying for attendance prizes by finding students who meet the "bingo" criteria.
