Murphy Company, mechanical contractors, has promoted Jeff Blandford to serve as operations manager of its Illinois office.
Since joining Murphy Co. in 2008, Blandford's major projects have included multiple renovations and expansion of Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, various renovations to St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville, and numerous building renovations and system upgrades to Scott Air Force Base in Mascoutah.
"Jeff has proven himself as a natural leader and it will be a simple transition for him to lead our Illinois office," said Conrad Philipp.
With more than 17 years of industry experience, Blandford has extensive education and experience in project management, project development and mechanical systems. He received his associate's degree in applied science and certification in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration from Belleville Area College in Belleville, Ill., and graduated from Ranken Technical College in industrial electronics technology. Blandford is a member of the Southern Illinois Builders Association, Great Southwestern Illinois Association of Plumbing-Heating-Cooling and Mechanical Contractors and the Southern Illinois Critical Hospital Engineers.
