Midwest Block & Brick, a division of Midwest Products Group has completed a new 10,000 square foot office and warehouse facility in Gray Summit.
Midwest invested over $2 million for the site acquisition and building development. The new facility was designed by HKW Architects and includes the offices for Midwest Block & Brick; the 8,000 square foot warehouse; and their 2,000 square foot showroom. The new facility is located on seven acres of land in Franklin County, which will allow ample space for future expansion.
Darryl Winegar, Midwest's vice president and general manager, said "We are proud of our new facility. We wanted to build a quality facility in Franklin County that is representative of the masonry and landscape materials we sell."
The new warehouse and showroom were designed and built to provide products to meet the masonry and landscaping needs of the growing communities in Franklin and West St. Louis Counties. The new Grey Summit facility services the Franklin County communities of Augusta, Labadie, Pacific, St. Clair, Union and Washington; and the St. Louis County communities of Eureka, St. Albans and Wildwood.
The company will continue to maintain their other area locations in Wentzville, Missouri and Waterloo, Illinois.
Besides Midwest Block & Brick, Midwest Products Group has several divisions headquartered in the St. Louis region, including Kirchner Block & Brick, St. Louis Retaining Wall Company and Gateway Insulation.
