Midwest Bank Secures Housing Grants

Midwest BankCentre (MBC) has partnered with local housing organizations Better Family Life, Inc. and Beyond Housing to secure $1.5 million in grants from the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) of Des Moines Affordable Housing Program (AHP). The funds will be used to rehabilitate existing properties for seniors and low-income families in four St. Louis communities.

MBC partnered with Better Family Life, Inc. to secure a $500,000 grant from FHLB Des Moines to rehabilitate 100 homes through its West End Home Repair Program. Together, MBC and Beyond Housing also secured $1 million to improve homes in the Hillsdale, Pagedale and Pine Lawn communities.
