Maune Development Company, a St. Louis-based company specializing in management, leasing, acquisition and development of office, retail and industrial property, announced that Peter Krombach has joined the firm as president. With the addition of Krombach, the firm is changing its name to The Maune Company to better reflect the services it offers outside of development, which includes brokerage services. The company has long served its existing owned portfolio with brokerage and management services.
"Having the opportunity to work with Peter Krombach again is incredibly exciting," said Ramsey Maune, founder of The Maune Company. "There are few people in the industry locally, and even nationally, who have such a strong reputation. His talent will allow us to offer a wider array of services to our customers."
"I'm looking forward to getting back to my roots in the local real estate market," said Krombach.
Krombach and Maune were formerly partners at Krombach Partners in 2004. The firm was sold to CB Richard Ellis in 2007, where Krombach continued to run the St. Louis operations until April 30 of this year. Throughout this period, Maune remained focused on running The Maune Company.
Krombach founded Peter B. Krombach & Associates in 1980, which was succeeded by several other firms over the years, most notably Nooney Krombach Company from 1986 to 1997. In addition, Krombach has served as national president for the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors. He brings 45 years of industry experience to The Maune Company.
The Maune Company was founded in 2002 and specializes in the management, leasing, acquisition and development of office, retail and industrial property. The company's portfolio includes 68 properties and more than 2.8 million square feet of space under its management. In 2009, The Maune Company acquired Bell & Associates.
