Kirchner’s Wilhelms to Chair National Masonry Association

Mark Wilhelms, director of sales for Kirchner Block & Brick, has been confirmed as the chairman of the board-elect for 2009 at the recent Annual Meeting for the National Concrete Masonry Association. The Annual Meeting and election took place in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 28, 2009.

Wilhelms, a 24 year veteran of the industry, has served on a number of local regional and national industry associations. He is the Past President of the St. Louis Chapter Constructions Specification Institute, and the Past Chairman of the Missouri Concrete Masonry Council. He is also an Associate Member of the Mason Contractors Association. With this election, Wilhelms will assume the role of Chairman of the National Concrete Masonry Association in 2010.

The National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA), established in 1918, is the national trade association representing the concrete masonry industry.

Regarding his confirmation Wilhelms said, “I am honored to have been asked to serve. My tenure will represent the fourth time a member of our companies has served as chairman for NCMA.”
