IMPACT Completes Sesser Health Center

The new Sesser Community Health Center is complete and fully operational. IMPACT Strategies was the construction-management firm responsible for the construction of the integrated health center, which  offers physician, dentistry and pharmacy services to the Sesser community and residents throughout Southern Illinois.

Construction of the 9,700-square-foot facility, which began in March, was finished two weeks ahead of its scheduled completion date of the end of August, according to project manager Mike Michael. The finished facility has brick masonry with EIFS and siding accents, and an asphalt shingle roof with a concrete parking lot. The interior finishes include custom millwork, wood doors, wood trim, painted drywall partitions and acoustical ceilings.

The total cost of the project was $1.3 million.

Sesser Community Health Center is one of several medical-related facilities constructed in recent years by IMPACT Strategies throughout Missouri and Illinois. IMPACT's healthcare projects include Cedarhurst of Shiloh, Shiloh, Ill.; Hospice Home of Southern Illinois, Edwardsville, Ill; Maryville Professional Building and Dr. Christina Midkiff Offices, Maryville, Ill.; Open MRI of Southern Illinois, Swansea, Ill.; Veteran's Administration C.B.O.C., Belleville, Ill.; and Webster Groves Surgery Center, Webster Groves, Mo.
