HOK made Inc. magazine's list of the 5,000 fastest-growing U.S. companies. It was the only St. Louis construction industry firm to do so.
Forty-nine St. Louis-area companies made Inc. magazine's annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the nation.
In order to qualify for the Inc. 5000, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2008.
They must also have achieved revenues of at least $200,000 in 2005 and $2 million in 2008.
