Hospital design-build firm HBE Corporation increased its revenues in 2010 by $30 million, placing the privately held company first on the list of Modern Healthcare's Top 10 Hospital Design/Build Companies in the United States.

HBE Corporation reported a revenue of $349 million in 2010; an increase of $30 million or 9.4% over its reported $319 million revenue in 2009. Working solely on healthcare projects, HBE Corp. has 51 years of experience with approximately 400 full-time employees. HBE Corp. attributes its increased revenue to improved company performance in its core hospital design and construction business, which reflected a slight easing in nationwide construction financing constraints and planned projects that got under way in 2010.
