Gundaker Commercial Group has ended its affiliation with Grubb & Ellis
A statement released by the firm said: "With 2011 underway, Gordon Gundaker and Mike Hejna of Gundaker Commercial Group, Inc. (GCG), have committed to a renewed regional focus for clients. Offering traditional brokerage, development, construction and asset management services, GCG has serviced the St. Louis Metro area commercial real estate market and surrounding communities in numerous capacities over the last 25 years.
"In 2005, the brokerage division of GCG became the St. Louis affiliate for Grubb & Ellis Company, a national brokerage and investment services firm. At the time, this was a natural fit for the regional growth GCG was experiencing and offered an opportunity to service GCG's regional and national client base.
"'We have taken a focused look at the future and have determined the best course of action for our clients and our team is to dissolve our affiliation with Grubb & Ellis," said Gordon Gundaker, Chairman of GCG. "GCG prefers to focus its resources on its core customers in Missouri and Illinois."
"GCG will rebrand all its brokerage services immediately and clients should feel no effect from the dissolution of the relationship with Grubb & Ellis."
