The Engineers' Week Join Society Lunch on Feb. 16 will feature a presentation by Robert B. Hermann of St. Louis University on earthquake monitoring and response.
Hermann, the Otto Nutti Professor of Physics in the department of

Survey National Earthquake Information
Center in Golden Colorado. The NEIC is developing tools for the rapid
estimation of ground shaking for use by emergency
response officials.
