David P. Cavender, P.E., has joined Horner & Shifrin, Inc., as a senior project manager in the Environmental Engineering Department. Cavender will manage selected water and wastewater treatment design projects.
During his more than 20 years of professional design work, he has managed many potable and sanitary system projects. He specializes in wastewater nutrient removal projects, which are increasingly required by USEPA. A St. Louis resident, Cavender is a registered Professional Engineer in Missouri and Illinois, a Board-certified Environmental Engineer, a licensed water and wastewater operator in Missouri and a certified Professional Soil Scientist.
He holds a Master's of Science in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech, as well as two Bachelors' of Science degrees from the University of Missouri at Columbia in Civil Engineering and Soil Science.
