Crone Heads SAK’s West Coast BD

David M. Crone has joined the business development team at SAK Construction, a national pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling industries contractor headquartered in the St. Louis area. Based in San Diego, Calif., Crone will manage SAK's business development efforts on the West Coast. SAK serves a variety of city, county and state agencies; industrial sectors; municipalities; and water and sewer cooperatives coast-to-coast.

Crone brings to SAK 15 years of experience in technical service and sales in the water and wastewater industries. He is a graduate of San Diego State University. Crone is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the American Public Works Association and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.

Founded in 2006, SAK Construction is led by industry veterans Jerry Shaw, president; Tom Kalishman, chairman; and Robert Affholder, vice chairman. The three SAK leaders specialize in trenchless underground technology, including CIPP rehabilitation. Trenchless technology is particularly important today to rehabilitate the nation's aging water and sewer infrastructure.
