C&R to Optimize Thompson Reuters Data Energy

C&R Mechanical Company has been awarded the mechanical contract on the power and Cooling (P&C) Optimization Project at the Thompson Reuters existing data center in Hazelwood, MO.

The $2.0 million mechanical infrastructure upgrade project began in September and is slated for completion in April of 2011. Project scope includes installation of chilled water in-row coolers within the live and operational data center. Overhead air distribution will be added as well.

Tishman, a New York, NY based general contractor, serves as the construction manager on this project and idGroup, an engineering firm based out of Boston, MA, is responsible for the design.
