The Construction Careers Center graduated its fifth class of seniors at a ceremony June 25.
Thirty-six students will received diplomas in the ceremony, which was held at Harris-Stowe State University in midtown St. Louis.
The students have several options for their future. Some have accepted apprenticeships with local union training programs, some will enter the workforce and others will continue their education at a community college or four-year university.
The Construction Careers Center is a four-year charter high school developed by the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis (AGC) to provide a new educational resource for the construction industry, while preparing students for the future by providing a foundation in academics, exposure to the construction industry and relevant vocational education preparation. Since opening in September 2001, more than 200 seniors have graduated from the CCC.
