Clayco Announces Five Promotions

Clayco Inc.has announced several new promotions including: Tony Mezines, promoted to project director; Mark Spraul, promoted to project director; Nick Bristow, Ryan Carson and Roberto Valdes, all promoted to senior project engineer.

It is a pleasure to announce these promotions while acknowledging and commending these individuals for their hard work and commitment."

Mezines has been with Clayco for 13 years, initially in the role of project engineer, and has advanced through various positions in the operations department to his current role of Project Director. Mezines has worked on several successful industrial and institutional projects for clients, such as: Gap, Inc, Bayer Pharmaceutical, Landshire Foods, Patriot Machine, Edward Jones Dome, home of the St. Louis Rams, Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University and Proctor & Gamble. He is currently overseeing the battery manufacturing facility for Dow Kokam in Midland, MI.

Spraul joined Clayco 14 years ago as a project engineer after spending six years with another design and construction firm in the St. Louis area. He successfully ran many commercial and industrial projects for clients including: Home Decorators, several Best Buy distribution centers, Holten Meat Company, Coldwater Creek, numerous Save-A-Lot projects and General Mills. He is currently managing a 1.2 million square-foot distribution center in Cleveland, TN.

Bristow joined Clayco over 3 1/2 years ago and has been working in the Technical Services group as a project engineer. Bristow has been instrumental in furthering Clayco's efforts in LEED training and initiatives company-wide.

Carson joined Clayco 3 1/2 years ago as a project engineer. He is currently working on Caterpillar's North American hydraulic excavator plant in Victoria, TX.

Valdes started with Clayco 3 years ago as an intern and joined the company as a project engineer. He is currently working on the battery manufacturing facility for Dow Kokam in Midland, MI.
