Clark Directs Carpenters’ Electrical Group

Jill Clark has been named executive director of the Associated Electrical Contractors AEC, the bargaining unit which works with Local 57, the electrical workers union formed by the Carpenters District Council. Clark came to AEC in January from the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).

Karen Ems, who held the director's position for 15 months, has taken a position with the Carpenters District Council of Greater St. Louis and Vicinity (CDC). The CDC announced in July that it had assumed jurisdiction for Carpenters District Council of Kansas City and Vicinity. CDC of St. Louis and Vicinity's jurisdiction now covers the entire states of Missouri and Kansas and 33 counties in southern Illinois.
