Busch Elected Public Works Secretary

Michael Busch, PE, PTOE, a project manager at Oates Associates, has been elected treasurer of the St. Louis Branch of the Missouri Chapter of the American Public Works Association. Oates Associates is a civil and structural engineering / architectural design firm.

Busch has been involved with the American Public Works Association (APWA) for six years. He began his career at Oates Associates more than 13 years ago and currently is the project manager on roadway projects throughout St. Louis. He recently completed an Oates project for the Illinois Department of Transportation, coordinating utility relocations for the 16-mile expansion of IL 255.

The American Public Works Association is the voice of public works for people, agencies and organizations throughout the nation. APWA provides educational and networking opportunities for their 28,000 members, helping them to grow in their field.
