Sika Sarnafil has awarded Bi-State Roof Systems, Inc. national recognition as a recipient of one of the 2010 Project of the Year selections.
The winning project was for Bi-State Roof Systems installation of a new Décor Profile roof on the Wentzville Law Enforcement Center in Wentzville, MO. The installation process was completed in the 3rd quarter of 2010.
Bi-State Roof Systems project was selected based on several critical points such as the degree of difficulty, outstanding workmanship qualities, the finished appearance and the building owner's high satisfaction rate with the finished product. This project scored very high in all criteria.
The award was made during the 2011 National Roofing Contractors Expo and Meeting in Las Vegas, NV in February 2011. The award was presented to Bi-State Roof Systems by Brian Whelan, senior vice president of Sika Sarnafil, Inc.
Receiving the award for Bi-State Roof Systems was Thomas Cox, president of Bi-State Roof Systems, Inc. and David Steinkuhler, vice president sales for Bi-State Roof Systems, Inc.
The roofing project required the removal and disposal of existing non-performing shingle roofing materials and the installation of a new Sika Sarnafil Décor Profile roof system in a royal blue color. The Décor Profile system consists of Sika Sarnafil flexible PVC roofing adhered to a prepared deck surface and the installation of matching decorative ribs to enhance the beauty of the adhered PVC membrane installation.
"We were pleased and proud to take on this high profile project for the Wentzville community and we believe the people of Wentzville, MO will be able to enjoy this beautiful addition to their law enforcement center for many years to come" stated David Steinkuhler, project manager for this installation. David went on to say, "It was difficult to say the least, but the finished project turned out very well and all of us at Bi-State Roof Systems enjoyed taking on the challenge".
