The Belleville Crossing retail development at Frank Scott Parkway and IL-15 is expanding. At more than 375,000 square feet, the center, anchored by big-box retailers Target and Home Depot, recently welcomed Dollar Tree and Radio Shack to its family of tenants. Both tenant build-outs were completed by Fairview Heights-based IMPACT Strategies, also the general contractor for Phase I and several out-buildings located within the development. This month, IMPACT is preparing the tenant build-out for Sally Beauty Supply, Game Stop, and GNC as well as initiating construction of Building "A", the first in Phase II of the development.
Building "A" of Phase II will have approximately 2,750 square feet of retail space available upon completion in mid-summer 2010. The building will be located directly east of Phase I along Belleville Crossing Street and is expected to be a catalyst for more development in Phase II.
Impact Strategies President Mark Hinrichs states, "DESCO has done a wonderful job in promoting this center during a difficult time and it's certainly positive to see the continual interest by national retailers to move into this development despite the economy. The limited remaining tenant space in Phase I and the start-up of Phase II during these tough times is a testament to the project, its developers and the community."
