ASA Recognizes Best Contractors

The American Subcontractors Association-Midwest Council hosted the 18th Annual Awards Gala honoring the top contractors in the St. Louis area on April 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel. Awards for general contractors are nominated and voted on by ASA members. Awards for subcontractors are nominated by past general contractor nominees and winners and voted on by past general contractor winners. All voting is kept confidential until the awards ceremony.

General Contractors are nominated and voted on the following criteria:

Bid Ethics Practice, Equitable Contract Provisions, Safety Policy & Practice, Payment Practices, Jobsite Supervision, Scheduling Coordination, Subcontractor Relations and Administrative Procedures.

Subcontractors are nominated and voted on the following criteria:

Bid Ethics Practice, Safety Policy & Practices, Jobsite Supervision, Communication, Scheduling Coordination, Project Relations, Administrative Procedures and Quality Workmanship.

Best General Contractor

Category A (above $50 million in gross revenues)-Alberici Constructors, Inc., Best General Contractor

Category B ($20 - $50 million in gross revenues)-Kozeny-Wagner, Inc., 

Category C (under $20 million in gross revenues)-LANDCO Construction

Best MEP Subcontractor

Category A (above $11.5 million in gross revenues) - Kaemmerlen Electric, Best MEP Subcontractor

Category B (under $11.5 million in gross revenues)-Engineered Fire Protection, Inc.,

Best Specialty Subcontractor

Category A (above $11.5 million in gross revenues)-Flooring Systems, Inc.

Category B (under $11.5 million in gross revenues) - Golterman & Sabo.
