Arturis’ Keil Heads IFMA Chapter

Julie Keil, principal in charge of facilities services at Arcturis architectural design firm, has been named the new president of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), St. Louis Chapter.

Previously, Keil served as treasurer and secretary for the organization, which includes more than 250 members from companies in the metropolitan area. The mission of the St. Louis chapter of IFMA is to provide a learning and networking environment among a diverse membership, while helping supply its members with the tools to achieve their professional goals.

"I am honored to serve as president of this prestigious organization," she said. "Facility managers play a critical role in the efficiency and success of modern companies. My goal is to work through IFMA over the next year to heighten awareness of this role, to make facility management a preferred career choice, and to ensure that IFMA is the premier forum locally for the advancement of facility management education and networking."

At Arcturis Keil provides leadership and direction in Facilities services, supporting clients with strategic consulting, master planning, move management, facility forecasting, and on-site facilities services. With 17 years of experience in Interiors and Facilities, she has implemented a wide range of strategies and innovations to help clients maximize the functionality of their built environment by integrating people, places, processes and technology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
