Arcturis, a St. Louis-based architectural design firm, announced that Megan Nasrallah, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP and Chip Houser, AIA have been promoted to principals at the firm.
A member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Nasrallah joined Arcturis in 2003 and has served as the firm's sustainability leader since 2006. She oversees the company's internal Green Team, as well as aids in the education of staff and clients in sustainable best practices. Her architectural experience has focused on mission critical facilities, including numerous projects for higher education and corporate clients. Her background in urban planning gives her a unique approach to architectural projects. Nasrallah holds a Master of Architecture from Washington University - St. Louis and a B.A. in Architecture with Honors, from Miami University - Oxford, OH. She is a Registered Architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects and National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and serves as a guest lecturer in the Sam Fox School of Design at Washington University. She actively participates in Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Missouri Botanical Garden Corporate Council. She resides in the City of Saint Louis.
A Registered Architect, Houser graduated from the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Design with Distinction. He joined Arcturis in 2007 and specializes in interior architecture, city review processes and approvals, planning and zoning meetings, interaction with city officials and stakeholders, as well as public presentations. He is also an expert in accessibility and life safety codes. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is involved with Junior Achievement. Houser resides in University City.
