AGC’s Lewis Named MODOT “Best Partner”

At the EEO Contract Compliance Workshop held at Hotel Phillips in Kansas City the second week of April, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) presented Stephen H. Lewis the 2012 "Best Partner" Award for his extensive efforts and determination to strengthen the working partnership with MoDOT. Lewis is Vice President of Associated General Contractors (AGC) of St. Louis, directing the AGC's inclusion department as well as helping to manage the association's Heavy/Highway/Infrastructure programs, transportation and other infrastructure initiatives.

The Best Partner Award presented by MoDOT's is External Civil Rights (ECR) staff recognizing DBE firms and construction stakeholders for their efforts to partner with MoDOT. Lewis was unanimously selected for the 2012 award, namely for his dedication and commitment to highway construction and his efforts to enhance AGC members' relationship with MoDOT.
